It is an advantage if we have the ability to predict the fitness and form of a horse but it is a fact that we are unable to get the formula to quantify the soundness and fitness of a horse

We may have rules and guidelines but each race is different and each horse is different. Every horse is independent, as is every race, condition, jockey and result. A race is an individual event so as a horse is an individual.

Form cycles are very tough to nail down and there are more than one factors involved. A horse has no engine underneath it, it does not matter who trains him or who is on him. So we have to agree that the recent fitness is the near top of the list of essential ingredients for winning.

No matter how good a system is there are always the human factors. Not just with the selections but with the self doubt

Unless we are putting money on it, nothing is at stake.

It is only making good bets and there is no best method, system, theory or strategy and there is no secret formula to handicapping or betting because every race and situation is different. It is a game of choice as well as decision making and as much as we are looking for a probable winner. Choices and decisions making apply to anything and everything we do and usually it is based on our own point of view. We make choices and decisions for different reasons and at different times. Whatever choices and decisions we make it is at our peril. No one can tell us beyond reasonable doubt that it is a mistake.

There is no way to measure prediction and no way to develop the knowledge to make predictions correspond to reality. There are many predictions but no similarly apparent result.

It is hearsay which is unsubstantiated information, groundless talk, gossip and rumour and some of which are just marketing and Hulk Hogan's stunts and not forgetting the cheating scams

Don't waste our precious energy on gossip.

Dream more while we are awake.

Envy is a waste of time. We already have all we need.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.

Make peace with our past so it won't spoil the present.

No one is in charge of our happiness except us.

Realize that life is a school and we are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons we learn will last a lifetime.

Smile and laugh more.

We don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Call your family often.

Each day give something good to others.

Forgive everyone for everything.

Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.

Try to make at least three people smile each day.

What other people think of you is none of our business.

Our job won't take care of us when we are sick. Our friends will Stay in touch.

Do the right thing!

Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

God heals everything.

However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

No matter how we feel, get up, dress up and show up.

The best is yet to come.

When we awake alive in the morning, thank God for it.

Our inner most is always happy. So, be happy.
